| Arenal Hanging Bridges |
 Hanging bridges Forest reserve comprises 243 hectares of protected forest. It is ideal for hikers who would like to admire the characteristics of the tropical rain forest. On a trail of 3.1 kilometers you will go through very impressive bridges, some of them suspended over the forest. The bridges have different lengths and heights. They were made with the intention of assessing the flora and fauna from a different perspective since you go through different levels of the forest. From these bridges you will have great views of the Canopy of the forest and it will be possible to locate animals and birds along the path. Topography of the terrain is rather simple with a few hard slopes that are not long. Departure time in the morning: 7:30am. Departure time in the afternoon: 1:00pm What you’ll need to bring: hiking or sports shoes, comfortable clothes, raincoat, insect repellent. We’ll include: transportation from hotel, entrance to reserve, certified nature guide, lunch, water and drinks plus material with supporting information. |
