This is a good combination of horseback and hiking in a beautiful scenario. Experience is not needed in this tour, trained horses will take you to the entrance of the waterfall through private farms, forest and hills, where you will have spectacular views. When you get to the entrance of the waterfalls, we will leave the horses and start to descend to the river. This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the forest and wildlife while you swim in the crystalline waters of the river.

Or, if you prefer, you can take the option of the horseback ride by the Arenal Volcano. This one begins at the base of the Arenal Volcano in an incredibly beautiful place, rich in flora and fauna, it takes approximately 3 hours through private farms, here you will have the opportunity to appreciate an amazing panoramic view of the Volcano, we will get as close to the volcano as the law allows us.

At this hike along the trails of Arenal National Park we will enter into the tropical forest and areas which were once devastated by the fury of the volcano. During the hike, it is possible to see a great variety of flora and fauna characteristic of the area while you walk through the lava slides of 1991.

What you'll need to bring: Hiking shoes or sneakers, comfortable clothing, raincoat, repellent, bathing suit and towel (in the case of those going to the hot water springs)

To get to the Cano Negro Refuge, we will go through a great part of the San Carlos plains enjoying the beautiful scenery of the side of the road, a great variety of fields with different products, such as: sugar cane, legumes, fruit and vegetables. Besides the broad areas for cattle breeding.
Upon arrival to Cano Negro, we will board a boat that will take us through the Canals of the river “Rio Frio” and its beautiful scenery. Thousands of animals inhabit the borders of the river and you shall enjoy seeing monkeys, sloth, caimans, turtles, bats and a great variety of birds.
This is one of Costa Rica’s refuges where the greatest diversity of flora and fauna can be observed.

We trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon. Your trip begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano.

From the first waterfall, we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. The adventure includes four rappels, three of which are along waterfalls, and one dry rock face. You will have the opportunity to see tropical birds, monkeys and thousands of different kinds of plants and flowers.

Going into the incides of the earth is posible in this tour. Underground trails will lead us through grottos and chambers exploring a World indifferent to Light. With flashlights to lighten up our way, we will enter into this labyrinth of ancient underground rivers and sea beds, all exposed now after thousands of years.
Rock formations called stalactites and stalagmites are very common inside the caves, making the most amazing shapes.

864 are the species of birds that can be seen all over the Costa Rican territory and more than 340 can be found around the Arenal Volcano area. That is why, for bird watching lovers, this is a privileged place to visit and discover.
Certified guides with ample knowledge on the subject and with specialized equipment for observation will guide you through trails near the volcano to identify toucans, parrots, oropendolas, tanagers, to mention only a few.
And for people with ample knowledge, we can also mention more exotic and difficult to identify such as: royal flycatcher, white-fronted nun bird, cinnamon woodpecker among others.
Usually the sunrise is breathtaking from the west side of the Volcano, therefore, resides seeing birds, you will also enjoy the great panoramic views.

Hanging bridges Forest reserve comprises 243 hectares of protected forest. It is ideal for hikers who would like to admire the characteristics of the tropical rain forest.
On a trail of 3.1 kilometers you will go through very impressive bridges, some of them suspended over the forest. The bridges have different lengths and heights.
They were made with the intention of assessing the flora and fauna from a different perspective since you go through different levels of the forest.
From these bridges you will have great views of the Canopy of the forest and it will be possible to locate animals and birds along the path. Topography of the terrain is rather simple with a few hard slopes that are not long.

This unique hike combines natures beauty with a great opportunity to observe th wonderful flora and fauna. During our hike through the Tenorio Volcano National Park we pass by the Celeste River Lagoon and walk along two crystal clear streams which come together to form the rio Celeste. Here the clear water mysteriously changesinto a beautiful bright, light-blue color (hence the name “Light-Blue-River”).

Walking along jungle trails we visit an area where volcanic smoke is expelled at high temperatures from the ground at the bottom of the river, creating sulphur bubles. The stunning colored Rio Celeste Waterfall offers an amazing view.

Experience the peacefulness of the forest while traveling on Penas Blancas River, and getting the chance to observe different animals such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, tortoises, crocodiles, and several types of birds.

Casting and Trolling for four hours at the Arenal Lake, you will be trying for the Rainbow Bass (Guapote) and the Machaca or Sabalate. Fishing boats and first class professional equipment are included. The seasons for fishing at the Arenal Lake are good for the pretty much the whole year, with the best results on summer days.

The night walk takes place at the Ecocenter Danaus which is a small reserve with a focus on conservation and education. A visit to the center at night will offer you the opportunity to see some of the area's more prominent nocturnal animals in (inter)action such as sloths, caimans, spiders, frogs, bats, butterflies and birds.

Our transportation will pick you up at your hotel in La Fortuna at 7:00 a.m. to drive you to Arenal Lake. Once there, a 15 minute boat ride will take you to the other side of the lake where a minibus will be ready to take us to Monteverde. Upon our arrival at The Reserve you will have the option of choosing between making the Sky Trek or the Sky Walk, either of which will give you the opportunity to appreciate the great beauty of the Cloud Forest area, characterized by their enormous variety of flora and fauna. After taking lunch in the town of Santa Elena, we will continue our journey with a visit to the Botanical Garden where you’ll be able to further appreciate the assortment of plants that compose The Reservation. At around 3:30 p.m. we will begin our return to La Fortuna.

The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.

Starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system.
